About Us..
SKC Music was conceived the summer of 2004 between then boyfriend
and girlfriend,
Sean Slavin and Karen Schuch (In case you were
wondering we're married now folks).
The idea was, and still is,
to create a music company that was tailored to the specific needs
of each customer. Our goal is to create a unique a special experience
for everyone whom we interact with. We realize that we're all
different. Not everyone has the same likes, dislikes or goals
in life. Our job at SKC Music is to find out what those "likes
and dislikes" are, and develop a music program around the criteria
you set. Regardless of what type of program you choose. We guarantee
your experience with SKC Music to be fun, enjoyable and educational.
All our instructors are personally hand picked and trained by
us. This insures you that you get the best possible music instructors
available today.
So just what exactly does SKC Music offer me? Well here is a small sampling of our services.
- Guitar/ bass lessons where you learn the right way.the fun way. (.. yes we even make house calls)
- Basic guitar/ bass set-up and repair. (neck adjustments, string height adjustments etc.)
- Childhood development classes for parents/ caregivers and their children. (ages 6 months to 6 yrs.)
- Children's concerts featuring "Swing Set". "Swing Set" is the name used to refer to the acoustic duo consisting of owners/founders Sean and Karen Slavin. We use this stage/ band name when performing children's music. (Don't worry, this is "hip" children's music. It's nothing like Barney, we promise).
- Birthday parties.

- Help finding you the right musical equipment for the best possible price.
